Review - Resident Evil - By crazyguy20

This level is really fast paced compared to what i was expecting!

As soon as you start your shooting back zombies that are coming at you.
The level looks great.... not much resident evil per say but cool none the less.
You also unlock 2 zombie enemies for your own levels by finishing the level.
It could do with being a bit longer.... but other than that a good level overall :)

This is only really a song, the End theme to Resident Evil 3

But its a good song, the level is very atmospheric and the lighting is great :)
The song is in detail and is much better than most song levels i've played.

Overall id give it 6/10
(would be more if it was an actuall level)

Dress to Scare Pt.2

In this part of Dress to Scare I'm going to show you how to make your sackboy look like a Generic Zombie, without using any DLC.

Before I start it must be noted that you will need to unlock these costume items by playing the game :)

Ok to begin here is our cute little sack boy

I then choose the pink splat material (this gives us a kind of head bleed look), useful for the later steps.

I then choose the stiched button eyes (as they look dazed over) although the stich eyes and white neon eyes also have cool effects.

I then picked the zombie brain (see didn't I say that the material was for a reason :P).

I then gave him some lovely rotten teeth... since i dont think zombies have pearly whites after snacking on a few corpses.

And last but not least I clothed him. I used the pirate shorts and the short sleeved shirt but you can use anything that fits the scene.

e.g. Bride + groom costume for a doomed wedding, Armour for a swat member.

It's really simple and doesn't require any DLC.

Bear in mind this is just a generic zombie.......... you could make them however you want.

In future Dress to Scares I will be showcasing an aray of different looks and styles your generic zombie sackboy/girl can achieve simply by using in game items.

Dress to Scare Pt.1

In these frequent posts i'll be explaining different ways to dress your sackboy to look "scary" as it were to fit in within your custom levels.

In part 1 im going to start on the easy stuff. The DLC!

There are a few bits of dlc that can be used to make your sackboy fit in but here are just a few.

The Chimera Costume:
The costume only costs £1.59 so its not too expensive, but it makes your sackboy/girl look like a mean ass alien.
If you change the skin colour and eyes you could make it look even cooler!

The pumpkin head:
This dlc was free for a limited time, so if you didn't snap it up then cross your fingers it gets released again.

It's only a headpeice so couple it with the pirate trousers (as they are torn), Change your sackboys colour..... and you've got your own halloween monster!

Ive updated the site a little today, just getting rid of sizing problems and bad links etc since launching. Ive also changed the logo slightly.... not much but it looks better.

anyway moving on....

In the coming weeks i plan to do a series of tutorials/lists to help you get the best horror levels/gameplay from LBP.

At long last, after months of ifs and buts but i finally decided to make a blog for all the like minded people who love little big planet and horror games like silent hill, resident evil etc.

Hopefully this little blog will help them find fan made levels and maximise their own levels potentials.

I've already added alot of things since I launched the site earlier today, mainly videos and links etc.

But there is alot more to come.......

Killzone 2 DLC this Thursday

As most of you know the new killzone dlc comes out on thursday 19th March

the pack costs £2.39/$2.99/€2.99

and includes:

2 costumes and 32 Killzone themed stickers

You might wonder why im mention this on a horror themed blog...
But as the images below show you could easily use the Helghast costume for a swat/hunk style to add to your lbp levels.
